The device operates at a distance of approximately 1mm above the surface of the skin and creates a minuscule electrical arc at its tip. This arc is called the plasma arc. When the plasma arc touches the skin, it vaporises a micromillimeter-sized dot on the skin’s surface. This process is called sublimation. This enables the treatment imprint to be wider and shallower than traditional dermal only devices. This dot minimally tightens the skin in its vicinity. Several points applied together create a “reduction grid”. Through the application of grids in specific patterns, excess skin is tightened.
The Plasma Pen helps spectacularly improves skin tone, brightness, laxity and texture and lifts and tightens loose skin. The extensive dermal and epidermal remodelling it stimulates (which includes neocollagenesis, neoelastogenesis and neoepithelialisation) leads to a dramatic reduction/elimination of photoageing and superficial wrinkles, the partial to complete elimination of medium-depth wrinkles and a marked improvement, plumping and softening of deep wrinkles. This is an especially gentle and low-pain procedure.
You can see results from 1 treatment but patients usually require 1-3 treatments for optimal results.

You can plan this tactically - consider having a treatment to your arms, legs or body during the cooler seasons when you can cover up more easily. Similarly, neck treatments are great in the autumn or winter when you can hide the treated areas with a scarf, and the eyelids are best treated in the summer when you can hide behind sunglasses.
